You mean Backlund. Perfect mentor for a bunch of kids. For C. Brown? I would toss in a pick or prospect. Flames need RW. |

Kevin Do you know what other piece Wilson want for Hertl. I have no problem giving Thomson but not on top of a first. A second no problem |

That would be even more of a waste of time than the Aho offer sheet. If they pushed the Canucks to the $10.2M/yr threshold, it might given them pause... but even then you have to ask if Pettersson is worth a 1st, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, plus that much cap space.

I would say yes, if the Sens had to make the floor. But as soon as they sign Brady, they are close. And Eugene wouldn't take on that money if he didn't have to.
But Petterson wouldn't sign to come to Ottawa |

The "I am hearing" is straight out of EK's playbook as well.
Lovely.

So may I ask all of you guys.
Has anyone heard any Ryan Strome to the Sens rumors?
If so, who are the Rangers asking for in return?
Thanks.

Brown isn’t going anywhere…..and certainly isn’t being trade for a 32 year old 3rd line center. |

Brown have not accepted his QO. Bruce said the team shop him. Never mind I think you talk about L.Brown |

The post I was quoting was saying Connor Brown traded to Cgy for Backlund……which is why I said Brown ain’t going anywhere. Not sure why the quote function doesn’t seem to be working. |

I see the Rangers added Reaves for a 3rd and continue to get physical players to compliment their talent. |

I saw that too!
Certainly lends some credence to the argument that they would want to add Boucher. |

No team is successful if it doesn't respond to cheap shots at star players. After the incident with Tom Wilson, the Rangers fired both the president and GM. Obviously, the ownership had seen enough incidents to demand a new approach to building out the team. |

No idea what a Monaghan would cost. But I think the Sens can offer up a 1st next year (lottery protected) and a decent player (Colin White, Thompson?).
I really like Pinto, even as future #1. And, I think Josh Norris is going to have a long career as a solid NHL centre. I do not think Logan Brown fits into the Sens plans.
Even though Monaghan might be the best guy available, is he the best fit? Do they want someone for more than a few years?
Because Sens were not closer on the end bids for Reinhard, do they actually prefer the option of the older short term guy (Henrique, Krecchi). |

I agree with Spatso, if Krejci and Recchi secretly had a kid I want him for the Sens! |
