I used to listen to games on the radio down in the states and hear Cournoyer's name but when I read the newspaper, never connected the two.

it's also kind of a lame chirp considering this is obviously a stereotype from France, as if Quebec was the exact same thing because they speak the same language (and ironically a lot of Quebecers don't appreciate the French that much lol)

i think that's where some people down here get the impression about quebec. they apply all the same stereotypes they attach to people from france.

we talked about this once before. they think people in quebec are wearing speedos, smoking cigs, have a weird mustache, and are rude. just because they picked up like comedians or whoever saying those things about france.
