Shea Weber gave his all his whole career and played through incredible amounts of pain, but it finally caught up with him and he’s got to sit this one out.


when Ducharme was asked if there was a possibility that Weber pulls a "Kucherov", he said of course it would be an ideal scenario, but wasn't counting on it...

I just feel that the Habs got a bunch of random guys suited for the 4th (or maybe 3rd) line centre and hope some of them work out in 2nd and 3rd.

Will be interesting to see the first set of line combos in a few days.

yeah, the C position is a bit of a weakness compared to teams in the East (yet again, lol), let's hope they do come up with line combinations that can develop chemistry.

Evans is a great 4 who probably is going to be miscast up a slot at 3. Paquette isn't good at anything. I'm going to hope Dvorak somehow is a better player by changing laundry and give him a shot but he's probably playing a slot above ideal. Poehling is a wildcard but never really had a very high offensive ceiling so likely tops out as a 3 C anyway.
