Carol Schram: Veteran Canucks lineup impressed Abbotsford crowd with 4-2 win over Flames Oliver Ekman-Larsson earned first-star honours and likely Abbotsford Canucks starter Mikey DiPietro put on a show in net as the Vancouver Canucks beat the Calgary Flames 4-2 on Monday in front of a supportive crowd in Abbotsford.

Thanks Carol, I thought the Wouters line was probably the best and most entertaining last night. Those three kids look good.

Hey Lefty, Jack Rathbone is one of those picks you say Benning is unsuccessful with outside of the first round. They are starting to show the last couple of years though. Demko(home run), Hogz(home run), Rathbone is definitely trending to a 5th round home run. Klimo has a pretty good shot to be a NHLer as well, Lockwood, Mike D looking more like a serviceable goalie by the day. Some other hopefuls in the pipeline...

Patience Lefty.

Thanks Carol.

If Benning needs the capspace from Hamonic not playing, to sign the 2 RFA'S, then he has grossly overpaid, again.

According to capfriendly, Gadjovich is still waivers exempt, due to lack of games played.

I’m seeing the opposite on their “waiver calculator”

I just did it again, on the waiver calculator and it says he is exempt for 4 seasons, due to a lack of games

Strange for sure.
I would show you what I had, but don't have a clue how to do what you just did. I assume that is what they call a screenshot?

I Googled,is Jonah gadjovich waivers exempt, used capfriendly option, inserted Canucks in the team box and scrolled down.
It gave an explanation on why he was exempt for 4 years.
I confirmed by checking Kole Lind the same way and he is not exempt.

Colton Dach ( Kirby's brother ) has been traded to the Kelowna Rockets. He is a big guy , a player I was hoping Canucks took but landed in Chicago.

I download an app called "Lightshot". Its easy and gives you multiple ways to do the screen shot. You can copy, dl to you files, dl to the cloud and they give you a link to a host, share, google search for a match(pic or text)
or send to printer.

Thanks Carol! Which hockey pods do you like? I subscribe to a bunch but don’t listen all the way through to all of them. 32 thoughts is a must, and I usually get all the way through the Vancast. Others include:

Athletic Hockey Show - really like Haley Salvian with Ian Mendez. She smart and funny and gives a different perspective than old white guys.

Puck Soup with Greg Wysh is usually pretty funny but they tend to get off topic and ramble a bit.

The Full 60 with Craig Custance hasn’t dropped for a while.

Sekeres & Price - three hours is a long time to listen - they also have their Canuck additional with JPat called Rinkside which follows directly after the main show.

Donny and Dhali, also too long IMO. Problem with these live shows is that usually by the time the pod comes out we have already discussed all of the relevant topics in your thread, so the information is always a day behind…

Anyway, look forward to hearing if there are other shows worth a listen.
