The best solution to this is having one defenseman play back and keep an eye on the neutral zone. Way back in the day, Weber and Suter would keep their skates outside of the blue line, even on the power play. It would stretch the defending team, and also give them the ability to turn quickly into the neutral zone. If you can see that all 5 opposing players are defending, you can play inside the blue line. Just small details like that.

An offensive player goes for a change on the defensive side of the blue line and his replacement leaves from the other side of the bench located closest to center ice! It is even more successful if the opposing Dman pinches and his covering forward is late!

For sure! Crosby is one of the best ever at the far side change. As close to too many man as you can get without getting it. I love the game within the game

Two thought on Tyler Bertuzzi's vaccination status:
1 His having had Covid means he is more resistant to catch it again,
2 His rejecting the the jab will assure his not being traded to a Canadian team, or NYC, or any other location that will mandate the jab.
I guess we can be "stuck" with him.
