Great blog Roger.
Good question. I think Johnnson will be on the 3rd or 4th line to start the season. If he does not perform, he'll end up as a Gusev and be traded. If he does perform and there are injuries, I can see him break into the top six in the interrim. |

Gusev wasnt traded, do you even follow this team? You two really are terrible. |

The guys on the the PTO's have the most pressure because they are playing for their hockey careers. It looks from the line combos that Andreas has been getting top 6 minutes and the team is determined to get him going. I'd bet he's on the roster and they will give him plenty of opportunities at the start of the season. The pressure will only ramp up if he continues to struggle similar to last season. |

I think Hamilton doesn't have the most pressure but will feel extra pressure coming in as a major signing and people expecting alot from him and being a number 1, he will definitely help but wonder if our system is going to hinder him some
Johnnson does need to improve and show he wasn't just a flash on the pan

I think Johnnson is a good guess. He was terrible last season and there are a bunch of people in camp that are vying for his job. Thus far in camp, while it is still early, he's been relatively invisible. |

I’m surprised by Blackwood’s anti vaccine stance. He’s a Canadian with a mother who runs a hospital in Thunder Bay Ontario. I wish the Devils would simply say to him. Pack your bags kid. Go home. Lou would have done that. Maybe that’s why the Devils stink again |

Not going to get into vax vs antivax in here because the thread will just get messy
I am surprised too after he was hit pretty hard with covid and took a long time to get over and science says antibodies typically last 6 months which I believe has passed.
He has a right not to get vaxxed but getting vaxxed is the smarter decision and that is based on science and real information rather than legality of things, just makes everything more complicated for him when it comes to away games let alone not being able to play in Canada |

There are plenty of hospital employees in Canada and US that have not gotten vaccinated. And how could you say that about Lou, is everyone vaccinated on the islanders? |

I don't want to get into it either, but my 2 cents is I know several family and friends who work in hospitals as nurses and none of them wanted/want the vax. (not saying other people can't have a different opinion..). Not getting FDA approval for so long was part of it, the lack of long-term trials was another, the conflicting and frequently changing information was another, and them seeing advancements in how Covid is treated was a big part. A vaccine is one thing. As time goes on, we're also learning how to better treat Covid, which is also part of why there are fewer deaths.
So with that in mind, it doesn't surprise me Blackwood doesn't care to get it. The research and facts that keep updating with more research, may give one pause to commit to something permanent in your body, when the facts keep changing as we learn more.
I think that's where he's coming from. Not that it matters really. Go Devils. |

Enough vax and anti vax stuff. Get back on topic here about how bad the Mussa and Woo blogs are. Keep to the point. |

Only one not vax on the Isle was Body Wilde and they loaned him overseas because of it. I believe that, at last report, only 12 players league wide were not fully vaccinated, and that included guys like Nylander who already had 2nd shot, but hadn't hit the 2 week post shot window. Not sure if Keith is in that group too. Sounds like league will start up with single digit personnel that are not vaccinated. |

Yes but Bo Wilde just refused his vaccine so he’ll be playing in Sweden instead of with Bridgeport. |
