With the whole Robin Lehner Thing could it possibly have been a former Trainer or Equipment manager that was doing it and has been dealt with? Didn't the flyers last year fire a long time equipment manager? |

If you are referring to Derek Settlemyre, I doubt it. |

Not sure. If so, why would Lehner call our AV specifically and not say the Flyers medical staff etc..?
I really hope this gets sorted out quickly so that the distractions to the team are minimal. |

Lehner is a bi polar drunk. Not sure going to believe what he says until verified elsewhere.

I know its only pre-season, but I really want the Flyers to ice their A team and dominate this game, to set the tone for the regular season. The Bruins have had the Flyers' number for the past few seasons, the Flyers need to change the narrative now! |

NAK has a problem that is recurrent, persistent, and troubling.
He can't keep his stick down.
He gets penalties.
He got away with another high-stick in the Capitals game.
The score was 2-1 in our favor.
This kid could have cost the game.
Enough.
Put a shock collar on him, so that if he raises the crowbar past his waist, he gets zapped.
It's gotta stop or get him out of here. He does little enough and penalties negate what good he brings. |

Or just give NAK some Ambien so he won't be strong enough to pick his stick up too high |

He has looked very good so far in these pre season games but like you said he’s really got to be better with his stick. What was it a few minutes left it front of our net he shaves a guys face. Can’t believe the ref missed that. |

Ambien was 100% being handed out to NHL Players by probably every team in the league for years. I’m sure it has slowed down tremendously but to pull the revisionist history card like Lehner has is complete BS. Be careful what you wish for, I hope no one signs this guy ever again. |

I'm not doubting this because I simply don't know but you've made this statement a number of times. Is there any documentation of this?

Listen, maybe my interpretation of the Lehner rant is incorrect, but it sounds as if the whole reason he was upset is because of something happening right now that he wishes to stop. He brings up things that have happened in the past as leverage but the real issue is current, however vaguely worded.
Is this the Eichel situation or something more?

I agree. Even if they don't dominate (they never dominate the Bruins) at least build confidence and chemistry.
I for one am ecstatic that Boston is no longer in our div. Not that Carolina or CBJ will be easy to play against, but you're right no matter the circumstances, we struggle to beat BOS. |

I don't know enough about this either. I have heard about years back making players play through concussions, and take shots for other injuries but didn't know about ambien use. Does it jack you up and make you more alert? |

The thing with Eichel and that is how his rant started. Eichel is part of the players association as is the drunk. The same association that agreed to let teams have the final say on surgeries. So instead of going at the team go at the NHLPA. |

I certainly do not have written internet documentation but from a former player it was available for plane rides / road trip. Never got into crazy detail but guys struggle with sleeping on the road and or the plane. Look at the Drouin situation, he probably would have just been given Ambien 10-15 years ago (not saying it’s the right thing to do). I’m sure it has been dialed way back but to call foul now is a little ridiculous. And I’m sure it’s not the team doctor forcing it on guys, it’s more likely a player saying he’s struggling sleeping or whatnot and that was what is given. |

It was given out to help players sleep. But you do not get "real" sleep. You never enter REM sleep. So technically you are never getting quality rest. This is according to Robin Lehner on Twitter.

I'm with you. My interpretation (and it's only an interpretation because Lehner speaks/tweets in riddles) was that he was accusing AV of treating players (specifically Hart) like robots and not human beings. The drug stuff sounds like posturing..."I know all kinds of dark secrets about the NHL and will start telling if anyone challenges me" |

Thanks. I do not consider Robin Lehner on twitter to be a reliable source TBH. Hopefully we'll receive clarification once it's investigated. Just seems suspicious that he has "proof" when he never played here. Relaying another player's account does not constitute proof. |

I do not think he was overly tough on Hart. AV wanted him to play better. I don't think he went overboard either way with his review of Hart's play. At least not publicly to my recollection.
