Zak MacMillan: Just Exactly Why the Columbus Blue Jackets Will Win the Stanley Cup

This should be called, "Why the Columbus Blue Jackets belong in the NHL."

I'll say this; this edition of the cbj is reminiscent of the Rick Nash era Jackets and i'm not saying that because Voracek is back but rather , this team has the wingers to play the top 6 role , and if Chinakhov is for real then we have an abundance. But, inexistant center depth.

What will make it interesting compared to said era and the difference maker is the back end, Boqvist, Werenski and Bean are all capable puck movers which gives an interesting dynamic and could provide fast pace jumps to the forwards. Compared to the lumping Adam Foote, Commodore , Hedja...oh and Duvie freaken Wescott who was the go to guy to get the offense going. Bottom line getting the puck out of the defensive zone was like watching a Chinese fire drill.
