Thanks Carol! Excited to see some games. Hoping they find another level or 2 or we're in trouble! |

Thanks Carol. Pretty stoked as well for a normalish return to a full league.
@Lordy, the Oilers can suck it. |

Wow quite different lineup than the off-season paper projections.
Just goes to show how injuries and now other things (covid, mental health) can greatly impact that piece of paper lineup that's scribbled out after free agent season.
I always smile when folks say there's no room for so and so ... this is vancouver and rarely does the team make it out of the first couple weeks without substantial injuries ... looks like this year it's starting a tad earlier. |

Again why did Benning sign Sutter? |

Is this a rhetorical question?
Cheap, experienced 4th C that can PK...who got sick and is now on LTIR. |

Great work recapping a very busy time.
If Chiasson is PP net front, has Miller lost his spot on the top PP? |

Boeser I think would be the one shifted down to PP2, he was the one who played net front last year |

Thanks Carol.
Team needs to hope that OEL doesn't get injured.
Hunt Rathbone and Hughes on the leftside is an opposition dream. |

Signed almost 3 months ago. I doubt they knew these now long term effects would still be a problem. Some keep talking about the long term effects of Covid on some people in here... until it's a Canuck then it's just an excuse. |

Boeser plays mostly on the left side for one timers. It's probably a better set up option for the left handed Horvat if he is in the bumper spot as well. Instead of Miller having to go across his body. |

Then they're idiots. There are plenty of long hauler cases documented. There was no need to rush signing a 4th line centre with COVID but that's just my opinion. |

Thanks as always Carol
Didn't vote as I have no feel for what the team is with those preseason games, tomorrow should tell us a lot. |

I guess. Most thought it was a good deal at the time...

Jeff Marek on the Sabres: "It seems like they're running a couple of different experiments on the ice: Tage Thompson is now a centre, there's been some speculation that Dahlin might take some shifts up front not unlike what Housley did with his Sabres career once upon time".

Rubey's theory of Hughes the forward may not be absurd |
