That's too many too many men on the ice penalties for both clubs already. Those are foolish and pointless penalties.
I really hope RR is back for next game. It'll be nice to see someone keep the crease clean for our goalies for once |

Watched the Phantom game last night….probably going to buy AHL package…I’ll watch enough to justify. In watching Ratcliffe he looks a lot like Tage Thompson on Buffalo. I think if he can get his scoring touch back he has a real chance to make it with the Flyers down the road. Frost, struggled on face offs but over all moved the puck well. It’s only a matter of time until he makes the jump. I liked York’s game as well overall as well. I also think Foerester’s game will translate very well into the NHL…he really sees the ice well and has a high end NHL shot already. I also thought Sandstrom looked steady in net. |

That call against the Phantoms at the end of the game was odd. Had the goalie pulled and I kept playing it back after and could only count 6 guys. It was the new Lady Ref that made the call, and I admit I wondered if she had made a brutal gaffe. Anyways call stood, so I’m sure there must have been another guy out there somewhere.

Thought there were some real positive signs in game one. Fast start, Ellis, The PP, all the new adds for that matter. Some of those goals on Hart were extremely odd, not going to close the book on him after one game. |

"It wasn't a soft goal but it also wasn't unstoppable for the Phantoms' netminder."
A flyers organizational theme. |

On the BU front, they played back to back against Sacred Heart, lost one, then won one, however O'Brien missed both games. I haven't been able to determine why yet but it was disappointing to not see him play. |

Especially on that 5 on 3 with Provey in the box, it would have RR out there on defense instead of Sanheim, and perhaps that 3rd goal does not happen. |

That goal was exactly what made me miss RR. I feel like he would have swept that puck and anybody in a different jersey away from the goal mouth. That too many men penalty deflated the team and of course it lead to a goal... It was a bad penalty |

The HOF Alum event is well worth going, Both VIP or Regular admission, You will have a blast They really make a great event out of it and usually leaves a few good stories to talk about with other fans. Not to take away from the "actual" Flyers games, but in a totally different element, these games are more fun to attend. This years should be special. |

If it isn't Hart, AV needs his head examined. |

Same here...Risto practiced, but that's it. Seeler move was cap related and will be back for the game tomorrow.
Both waiver claims still not available to play yet either.... |

He should be getting around 60 games this year. I want him going at all times outside of back to backs |

Apparently Sanheim said he thought Hart covered the puck on the one goal, but he needed to be harder on that play. I totally agree, glad he pointed that out. |

Its of course early to say, but Frost is starting to concern a bit.
Missing on Patrick, to go along with Morgan having valid questions to his future is very problematic.
The Giroux goal was a beauty, and he still remains the most skilled player up front. Claude is so undervalued. |

That Claude goal was awesome. Loved his celebration after too! It will forever bother me how criminally under appreciated G has been his whole career here.
