I don't trust the Penguins. Maybe they're letting these 2 sit out the first couple weeks to preserve their energy for late in the season. It also gives them a chance to evaluate the team w/o the two marquee players and find out what would be needed when they do move on. This is no different then when they tanked in order to draft these two players. |

I love Kevin's patronizing writing style, FYI, I picked Pittsburgh to win the Metropolitan and I also believe the Met has passed the Central as the best Division In hockey. |

Yes the Penguins are pulling the wool over the league's eyes by benching two of the best players in the world intentionally to....do better?

You might be surprised by the Habs but most smart hockey fans aren't.
As for Pitt...update me in 10 games. They aren't that good. They beat Tampa on the opener and then beat Chicago. Big deal. They lost to Florida and Dallas. This is a bubble team.
And Buffalo has played Montreal twice and Arizona. So basically 2 of the other worst teams in the league. Give it 10 more games and 3-0 will be 5-8-2. Did you even look who they played? |

Well the Sabres actually played Vancouver instead of Montreal twice so I think the real question is...did YOU even look at who they played
Also you said 10 more games yet your total record there adds up to 15 while 10+3= 13 so you are really struggling there |

Hilarious aren't you? The injuries weren't staged, just embellished them. I guess you still believe in Santa ? |

You signed Jumbo. You’ll have a great regular season then blow it in the playoffs the same as every team he is ever on. |

Oh, sorry. My mistake.
The Penguins are embellishing injuries to two of the best players in the world to....do better?
You're asking if I believe in a made-up person while you are unironically suggesting that the Penguins are making themselves worse to be more successful

Yes clearly they are embellishing. Malkin had major knee surgery and his timelines has been a return sometime after Thanksgiving, since his surgery was announced. Crosby had surgery on his wrist with a 6 week time line. He is on schedule and should return Saturday.
The only thing that is hilarious is your lack of awareness. |

NHL draft in Montreal. Anyone else wonder why the draft was given to Montreal in the first place? There is zero doubt in my mind that Bettman will give Montreal the first pick. It's been his plan for years. - CGYFlames13
Wait, so it's all pre planned like wrestling? You mean the Leafs haven't won poop for 50+ years because they're the mustache twirling villain, not because they weren't good enough? |

FLA comming into the league with that rat toss was pretty awesome. Too bad the league couldn't handle it. |
