Two points. Take it. |

Didn't the flyers play a winless Arizona team and few years back and lose? |

Yes in 2017-18. The Flyers had a big three-goal comeback in the third period to go from a 3-0 deficit to a 3-3 tie including goals in the final minute of regulation by Jordan Weal and Sean Couturier. Arizona won the game in OT.

Arizona is not good at all. They are on a road trip with condensed games. Flyers should be all over them early.
Poor Chykrun. Why he doesn't ask out of that hell hole one will never know.
Bill was he on the flyers radar at all? They ever consider trading up to get him instead of trading down? |

This is a quintessential trap game. Hopefully the Flyers put in a solid effort and take care of business. |

How is this a trap game? We are coming off a pathetic road loss, back home now, if anything they should be fired up. |

If they won in Calgary I would agree. But the way they lost tells me they will not be treating this game lightly.

Not a fan of moving Yandle to the 2nd unit and Provrov to the first. Yandle has been one of the best PP defenseman in the league for a decade. Provorov has never been very good on the PP. Spreads the wealth I guess would be the argument. |

I would actually expect both teams to come out. One is winles. The other just shut out.
I’m just curious to see who runs ghost if anyone. Can easily see one of the new kids or NAK.
Here’s to hoping. |

Yes he was absolutely on the Flyers' radar. Had he made it down to 18th, there was a good chance the Flyers would have taken him. I don't know of an attempt to trade up. He was in a batch of players they had rated with a range of potential picks.
I am friendly with his dad, Jeff, with whom I catch up at Flyers Alumni events. Good family and I've always followed Jake's career with interest. |

Why would you hope that an opposition player gets run?

That is they way we should take care of business.
Unfortunately we excel at underachieving in games like this.
We need some little Urban Achievers. |

Run, level, big hit, dump and make the softness come out. |

They are going to be tired -- the flight was delayed, then canceled. Had to take a Trailways bus across the border to Bemidji MN, and got stuck at customs for 6 hours. I am not sure they will be up for a hockey game |

And the second power play unit has actually looked ok at times, much better than recent years. Yandle should stay on the top unit |

Running a player is a term used to describe targeting a player due to some animosity and with anger. Rather than physical play within the normal scope of the game.
