i saw the same thing after that first Kings goal. they couldn't just shrug it off and get back to doing what they were doing. they shrivelled up. same thing that happened Saturday night except this time Allen bailed them out in that second period. even in the third period they were asleep until Brendan Lemieux woke them up.

it was a loss, but at least there was a bit more entertainment value, so let's hope it'll continue this way lol

it sucks that Allen can make spectacular saves as well as letting softies in the same game.

yep. but if he had that consistency, he'd be making $7 million and he wouldn't be here. but also, maybe the Habs could give him more than 1-2 goals of support.

agreed, he's a perfectly fine #2, can't put too much of the blame on him, especially when you can't really count on the current backup they have to share the load.

(about Evans) :

Which he was in minor hockey, apparently, he wasn’t allowed to score more than 3 goals a game back then, once he had 3 goals, he was only allowed to pass to his teammates, no shooting anymore.

really? wtf... not a big fan of this "everyone is a winner and gets to contribute" mentality

oh it's been established many times that "regular season Carey" isn't necessarily the same as "playoff Carey". but still usually the team does seem to play with more confidence when he's in net. I remember the habs being fragile, but not to this point, right now it's just ridiculous.

I think we’ll be able to claim Gabriel Dumont or Charles Hudon at some point off Waivers from Tampa Bay
