I always forget Wilson has skill. That sequence in the first period when he got off a few shots after being mauled showed his value. If the guy just kept out of the box, I wonder where his numbers would be? Maybe that's an inseparable part of the package and his game?
Caps are a class above LAK, even with the injuries. Until LAK can burry shots with the advantage it had in scoring chances last night, it will be a bubble playoff team that loses a lot of close games. LAK is 30th in shooting percentage, but 6th in shots. It is a step forward from the last few years, I suppose.
