What's Yeo supposed to say? I suck as a head coach and that will continue? |

I'm just not sure Philly has the personnel. Giroux is an Uber talented supporting player at this point, like a mid-30's Jagr. Konecny was never what Fletch said he was. Farabee is a 3rd liner. JvR is dragging down a 3rd line, and puts up no points. Coots is an enigma: a great second line center. Hayes is a 3rd liner. On D, Provie is a good #2. So, basically, Philly is a team of 3rd liners plus G and Coots, with two big holes on defense. |

Good start tonight. Should have just listened to Hextall and burned it down. Draft. Develop. Have patience. I like Ek picking the Flyers to make the playoffs with Washington finishing last. Good call. Also had the Canucks winning the Pacific and going to the Cup Finals. |

Fletcher is the reason the team is in this mess in the first place.
Signing Kevin Hayes, a solid but unspectacular middle 6 center to a 7 year deal with an aav over 7.1 million was a terrible move
Giving Arizona a 2nd to take Ghost while giving up a 1st & 2nd for an inferior player in Ristolainen was worse.
Then he decides to dabble in the bargain basement bin of free agency and signs 2 players who should both retire in Thompson & Yandle.
Finally, let’s not forget that Fletcher was the one who hired the massively overrated Vigneault in the first place and compounded the mistake by also hiring AV’s idiot friend, Michel
Does anyone really believe that if Chuckles daddy wasn’t pal of Bob Clarke Cliff Fletcher’s son, that Chuckles would be working in the NHL?
The entire Flyers organization is badly in need of an enema. The police dog that crapped on their logo yesterday perfectly summed up the last decade of Flyers hockey. As someone old enough to remember the Cup teams and the fine teams they put on the ice in the mid 80s, it’s truly heartbreaking |
