I think Barkov’s ir is retroactive, and he will only have to miss tomorrow’s game.
Maybe it’s just to make room for the claimed goalie until they send Knight to Charlotte.
Lol, I must’ve been posting this on last blog as you were putting up this new one;
I think Knight could use the steady playing time as the AHL starter. He’s not used to sitting and watching, and it does nothing to help sharpen his game. Bob is playing very well, and has put his claim firmly back on the crease. Knight is better served right now playing in Charlotte. He is the future, let him go play and develop his game.
Maybe they give Johansen tomorrow night vs Ottawa as an audition of sorts, before actually sending Knight to Charlotte. |

Great thoughts as usual, Rats. I’m with you on Knight. I was all about him being a backup this season to get the experience/learn from Bob, but he has a lot of work ahead of him IMO.
Let him marinate in the AHL. |
