I still do not believe the season is over. I do believe that Lou needs to make a few moves over the season will be lost. Lou can no longer take a wait and see attitude. A move for a defenseman and a forward can right the ship.

For a team that needs to get younger this would be a pretty short sighted move imo. Hold onto what we have and jettisone whatever underperforming vets we can. We already have a lot in place and signed but it’s time for a mini rebuild. The season is toast get ready for next season.

Lou should be a seller (if he can manage to get anything). The Isles need to go about 39-19 to make the last WC spot. It isn't happening.

Pretty simple. Sell UFAs. Try to get some more roster and cap flexibility. Then make a move in the summer to add more scoring. Nothing needs to be torn down. But you also have to realize when it isn't your year.

Even Seattle won last night. Isles move up to 5th place.

Not many to sell. Lou can probably get a 1994 Toyota Corolla for Chara, which is actually a great station car if he takes the LIRR to work

Bergeron in Covid protocol now.

Flames are announcing more shortly. They apparently have 27 cases in the organization, including staff

The league may actually euthanize this season for us

I cannot imagine players are going to the Olympics now, that seems like a foregone conclusion. At this point I'm not even sure they won't shut the league down soon.

I think they would try to do another bubble before shutting it down. I'm sure the players won't be too happy about that.

#Isles supposed to host Bruins on Thursday night.

Bergeron's teammates Brad Marchand and Craig Smith were placed in COVID-19 protocol yesterday.

Also today, Flames have 17 more COVID 19 cases.

Whelp, I don't care. We played with an AHL team for multiple games. Trot out the Providence Bruins and let's do this! It would probably still be a close game.

Part of me hopes they keep playing so we can just hit the fast-forward button to the end of this nightmare. Part of me would also be happy to not be forced to watch this nightmare anymore.

Prior to the start of the regular-season, TFP’s David Pagnotta reported on NHL Network multiple teams had reached out to the Coyotes about Chychrun and were not told he was unavailable.

Last week, TFP’s James Nichols reported the New York Islanders “were engaged in a discussion” with the Coyotes in the off-season, but were told the asking price was “astronomical.” According to Friedman, the price tag on Chychrun is “massive.”

Would be a hell of an add for the blueline. I don't even want to imagine what it'd cost us. I have to assume one of Wahlstrom or Dobson and a whole lot more.
