Thank you Carol. First time Boudreau doesn't get last change. Curious to see how the matchups are handled. Especially with our depleted D. |

Thanks Carol.
The narrative when Green forced Gadj and ZacMac off the Canucks was... "if they can't beat out (insert a nobody), then it's no loss to the Canucks." Yet better teams have uses for these players. The players Green chose instead of them are even more useless... and nowhere near as tough.
So glad narrow minded Green is finally gone. |

Depleted that’s a little harsh isn’t it? It’s Hunt, Schenn and Poolman. It might improve the defence. |

Mike Kelly is generally a bit if a tool, but this sort of aligns with what we have been seeing with the canucks play

I mean
Gadjovich has 1 assist, -8 in 17 games played and SJ is a barely above us in the standings
Macewen has 1 goal, 1 assist, -8 in 25 games and Philly is worse than than us.
They can fight, which our 4th liners can't, but that's pretty much all they can do that is "better" than our 4th line imo.
Both those players are pretty much on par as being below average 4th liners, as our chaisson and dowling

It's more alpha to point at a projector with a hockey stick than it is a pointer I guess lol |

Pretty much my point... players that the Canucks developed... tougher younger grittier players were replaced by players no better. I'd take their character and toughness over Greens choices any day.

I haven't watched the Sharks play or bothered to see their fans comments on those guys, but I definitely trust Boudreau's player evaluations over Green's.
I think young role players especially should develop better under him than Green. Not saying Bruce is a miracle worker who will get every young player to pan out, but I sure as hell like their chances better now than I did a couple of weeks ago. A guy like Lockwood for example. |
