Salo has been very solid. I am very ok with 6 d-men being
Pelech/Pulock
Mayfield/Dobson
Greene/Salo
once Ryan is back healthy... pretty obvious to me who should be in the press box. That said Trotz will have Salo in the press box which is maddening. |

Saw game last night and unfortunately I taped the Boston feed. They were ripping on islanders the whole game. Saying varly looked bad and the identity line thevluaghed at and said what identity. They made fun of the arena all night and were like no wonder the islanders have the record they have they play bad hockey. These guys were the worst announcers I ever heard so I couldn’t enjoy the win much. I will say though our identity line had a strong game and thought the team played decent. Gave up to much shots but lost were to the outside. Also was whalstrom on the top line? The Boston feed never showed our lines and when the islanders had the puck or shot it on night they were silent. I didn’t even know the islanders scored that first goal. It was the worse announcing experience of my life |

Bailey getting an assist on Beau's goal annoys me. He tried to give it away with one of his patented moronic forced passes through 5 sticks.. Beau battled to get possession back and get it to Salo. Salo flipped it to Bailey who for once made the high % pass back to Salo who passed to Beau.... shoots with Parise screening goalie.. goal.
It's not that friggin difficult to figure out what works on the PP. I really don't understand why these guys can't figure it out.. move the puck until u get a shooting lane. get guys in front and put the puck on net. |

They are the worst Homer announcers in the game. funny Butch was talking about the Chara penalty and said.. "I know you are going to say I am a homer but how is the play on wahlstrom not a trip and that one is?" to which Brendan said.. "I am guessing the NESN broadcasters have a slight different call on those 2 plays."
Basically insinuating what you are pointing out... NESN is the worst morons in the game. It's also why their fans never understand how they lose a game and always think the Refs are against them all the time. Their announcers have never seen a legit penalty against the Bruins..ever..

True seems like they always take the shot with someone right in front of them. Low shot crash the net for rebound or deflection not hard at all |

I thought he played extremely well and deserves to be moved up to at least second line going forward |

Wahlstrom is second in points on the team(will almost definitely be the leader by next mid week)and last I looked had the least amount of ice time. Not really sure what point Trotz is trying to make but the “earn your ice time” mantra is a laughable one for a team that can’t score or win more often then not. How many one goal games have we lost? Save the tutelage for another time with the season on the line. |

Take it from a Boston fan, any more than 3 seconds of Jack Edwards is too much. I am honestly surprised he is still employed. |

He is the worst closely followed by the Sabres entire crew with Pat Fallon and the penguins broadcasting being a close third. All of these guys make Butch Goring seem objective. |

Guys, I figured it out. After 2 months of trying every combination of hats, shirts, hoodies, switching places/rooms to watch the game, starting the game before and after puck drop, I stopped wearing anything that has an Islanders logo on it after the Detroit game. Last night I threw on my St. John (the actual Saint, not school) chain that I for some reason I wore last playoffs. It worked! You’re welcome and I’m sorry I couldn’t figure it out sooner. My bad. |

Lou on what the islanders need to do moving forward.
“Not worry about what the standings are, not worry about who’s in front of us, who’s behind us, or not worrying about what might be in the headlines, not worrying about what the people waiting for a haircut in the barber shop are saying about who’s going to do what and what we should do. We have to stay focused on who we are, what we believe in and go forward and allow the end result to take care of itself.”
Love the barber shop line! I guess that would include Hockey Buzz and Twitter GM's |

Edwards is the worst. I hate when the Islanders play the bruins because they Always black out the Islanders feed and make me watch bruins broadcast. Every Bruins play is the best he has ever seen. The other team looks bad or gets lucky. If he complained 1 more time last night about how many Bs were out with covid I was going to throw my remote into the TV. It's like he knows there are Islanders fans being forced to listen to his crap, so he acts even worse. Can't stand him. 4th line looked their best of the season last night. |

Listen to a Caps broadcast. They're every bit as bad as Edwards and Steigerwald.
I will say, however, a CFO of a company we do business with has told me he's related to Jack Edwards by marriage and is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. |

The CFO is probably a bruins fan. |
