How do you know this is selling low? We could be selling high. His game has been cratering for awhile
Don
No it hasn't, he played 26 games last season, 26!! Did you know he had 21 points in those 26 games, hardly cratering for awhile.

For some New Year's Cheer, let's see how those numbers shake out in the small sample size of the Boudreau era. Since Dec. 5:

Record: 7-0-1 for 15 pts (T2); .938 points percentage (2nd)
Goals: 2.75 per game for (22nd); 1.5 per game against (T2)
Special Teams: PP 31.6% (4th); PK 88.2% (8th)
Shots: 31.0 for (14th); 31.3 against (17th)
Faceoffs: 50.6% (15th)

Exactly what I expected to happen, after 3 years of being mocked about my assessment of Green, just shows how many are blinded by media hype.

Anyone find it curious that neither Green or Benning have made a public statement about being let go, usually there is the obligatory thanks for the opportunity, things didn't work as hoped, yada yada.

I remember the local & national media freak-out when Green wasn't getting extended before the end of last season. All of these so called 'pros' & 'experts' going on about what a tragic loss it would be if he was left to walk.

That's my intention going forward, almost have my wife convinced that I should retire, the stress of the job has had health consequences this past year.

This is still the same roster JB built. Im happy woth Rutherford and especially Boudreau, but JR hasnt done anything yet and this fantasy world where are somehow a better team without JB is odd to say the least. Much better without Green absolutely, but were seein this is a pretty decent roster as many of us thought.

I suggest cutting back. You get tired of retirement . Do something to keep active but not draining. Take care of the health . Stay active and healthy.

But yet now the Trade Pettersson train is rolling in here lol

Remember the cycles:

Miller sucks, problem in the room. Trade him.
Brock sucks, injury prone and we need a Big RHD. Trade him.
Hughes sucks. -27 and soft. Trade him.

Now Pettersson. Pouty and wants to play for a winner. Trade Him.

Patience folks Petey will be ok.

Only concern is Rutherford has a history of snappy trades when he goes after a player.
Pettersson might still get a decent return but now is not the time to trade him.

Oh? What signs? They stink. Need to do like Van and clean out all coaches and management. All of them. They have McDavid and Drai then nothing but soft poo.
