Well, if there's a silver lining, it's if we had to pick a year to be bad and rebuild..... this would be the year to do it. Covid, injuries and a need for changes to management don't look so maddening when your goal is to tank lol. |

Hains: Activities Paused Through January 6 Inclusively
The Canadiens won’t play until January 12th, and they will not even practice until at least January 6th inclusively. - Karine Hains
thanks Karine
With nothing happening on the ice for the foreseeable future, expect some articles on the GM candidates which should be interviewed in the coming days as well as my take on the recently published book “Les dessous de la Poche Bleue”. A short read, but an interesting one nonetheless especially if you’ve been tuning in to the podcast hosted by former Habs Maxim Lapierre and Guillaume Latendresse.
even if they were playing, nothing much would happen on the ice, amirite..?
je sais pas si tu l'as vu mais le sketch avec Lapierre et Latendresse pendant le byb-bye était quand même assez drôle hahaaa....
just curious, who exactly would be your #1 pick for GM? |

I don't run with lumber. Too dangerous. Maybe more than running with scissors
- Bendecko
those look very amateurish, this type of skill requires just the right level of drunkness. |

I take it you speak from experience. Just for the record, how much is the right amount? Preferably in BAC |

I'm not sure what "BAC" stands for but if you have to mix your alcohol with coffee you're limiting your options a bit. I would definitely recommend in this case Coureur des bois, which is maple-based and very delicious, but I know you're gonna bring up your silly pecan butter syrup again |

Blood alcohol content (%), duh. What's the right amount for lumber running?
And you can't get drunk from syrup, silly, no matter the kind! |

Lol, fair point
Haha oui j’ai vu, pas manqué une seconde des émissions de fin d’année, il y avait pas grand-chose d’autre à faire mettons
As much as I like Roy, i don’t think he’d play nicely with Gorton. I think I’d be tempted to give Marc Denis a shot. No experience in a nhl front office but the man looks quite smart and he’s been involve with junior hockey. He’d prob be my pick but i don’t know the candidates in depth obviously

yeah I wasn't aware up until recently that Marc Denis would be considered but he could definitely be an interesting choice, he seems like a very smart fella that would quickly learn the ropes, and potentially be a good fit with Gorton as well. not sure what Denis' thoughts are about Roy but I'd prefer they offer him a coaching job, his passion and intensity would be better suited behind the bench lol

ABV ≠ BAC, but the former does lead to the latter. Still waiting on that latter figure, else I'm just stick to running with pool noodles in place of lumber. |
