Carol Schram: And Now We Wait — Canucks head into a week off following win over Seattle The Vancouver Canucks starting off 2022 with a solid 5-2 win in Seattle. Now, they have to wait a week before they get a chance to collect more points and try to continue their climb up the Western Conference standings.

It's nice watching professionals operate. That goes for you, Carol, as well as Rutherford.

Thanks Carol, Canucks need a week off. Gives BB time to get this team playing his system. Let’s the other teams catch up in games played.

Thank you Carol. Every time I look at the standings, I'm curious how the league balances out this season. Not only that but recovers some lost of the revenue. Could we see another expanded playoff format this year as an end result?

It is interesting that no one has noticed Boeser is gone 🤷‍♂️

Sorry Canucks are going to have to play their way into the playoffs, no back door entries. Bettman has said he’s willing to play longer to get the season done. Big question is with all the cancelled Canadian games, how are they going to get those home games done.

Yeah, I was thinking about this, too. They've already been cancelling a significant number of games for more than three weeks, so that window in February is going to get eaten up pretty quickly. Especially if they're still planning to give teams proper breaks, as I've been hearing...

The logistics of it get more mind bending the deeper you get into it. Building availability, staffing logistics, Government policy, will Covid slow down enough to open the window?

Whatever it takes. How about you worry about your own team?

Ontario just shut all arenas down starting January 5th, things aren’t looking good.
Maybe they’ll have the NHL teams play in their AHL arenas. This doesn’t work for you guys though

Me too. Getting Boeser will only help the scoring depth. One more weapon for Gabby to use. And we have all seen that Gabby knows how to deploy Boeser properly. Something Green could not do.

Not much to worry about when your team is 17-7-6. Plus K-man is a closet Canuck fan. He just hasn’t come to terms with it.

2 games ago? That was an incredible point earned. Team was gassed on a back to back after a very long layoff.

Sure is refreshing to listen to the coaches interviews now. Bruce is straight with his answers, but in a folksy way. No arrogance in this guy.

Confidence in Canuck management; behind the bench and in the front office. How refreshing.

The same with Rutherford. You don't walk away from his interviews with more questions than answers.
He also sounds like he finished high school.
