Assuming Jarry starts tonight, do we go with DeSmith or Domingue against da Flyers? Who is your backup?

I start DeSmith as Sullivan is going to do. I give Domingue a start out west, either LA or San Jose.

Tough matchup this eve...Blues looking hot as of late. Its kind of funny, to me anyway, the Blues are first in their division with 43 points and with only 2 points less the Pens are 4th in theirs.

EDIT: After the Preds win last night the Blues are in 2nd, not 1st, one point behind Preds with a game in hand.

2 years of nasty injury setbacks and well below average production was probably a fair reaction. He is having one hell of a year though.

Hindsight is 20/20. I was definitely apprehensive and I still stand by it. He looked terrible last season coming off the injury and at his age it would be wise to question whether or not he'd bounce back.

Not that I don't agree he's probably a bit more fragile than most, it could be said of any player in the league, really. One bad hit and/or awkward fall and they're done for good.

Jeff Carter will NOT play tonight, Mike Sullivan says.

Evgeni Malkin's "return is nearing," but he won't play tonight either.

DeSmith officially starting. I think this is a pivotal game for him and for Hextall gauging what to do moving forward.
