Its a simple Strome for Chytil trade. However they have a shutdown dman in DeHaan who is in his final year that we can use for the playoffs which is worth tacking on.

If were gonna talk about Dach, we might as well revisit the Turcotte pipedream.

God, that third line makes me want to vomit.

Obtaining a top-none forward is likely more of a focus right now, but doing so does not preclude bolstering the back line, if the organization views that also needs to be a target.

I think the trade with Chicago for Strome and DeHaan may be the best, and most realistic, thing we've collectively come up with. If we include Pavelski as our big rental acquisition, this is what our team looks like...

I was a huge Strome fan but he has shown me very little. Plus his salary likely will be higher than Chytil next year, which concerns me.

When the Rangers traded for Ryan Strome, he had 2 pts in 18 games with the Oilers. The year before that he had 34 points in 82 games with the Oilers. He was averaging just over 14 minutes a game. Ryan Strome was 25 when we traded for him.

Dylan Strome currently has 8 points in 23 games with the Blackhawks. Last year he had a whopping 17 points in 40 games, which in an 82 game season would have averaged out to a whole 35 points. He is currently averaging just under 14 minutes a game. Dylan Strome will be 25 in March.
