Goldie has grown on me over time. I do like how into it he is when Panthers are in a close game. He gets a little bit annoying when he starts gushing about them (imo) too much. I can still hear him calling Lomberg’s OT goal last playoffs, but there are still some “shut up, Goldie!” moments, too.
It’s only been two games, but I think I prefer Jovo to Randy as the color commentator.
He actually seems to throw out some knowledge and insight rather than the standard commentary of cliches.
