Not getting what Vancouver gave up to get him. I get wanting to ship players out but at some point you have to believe in the team and try to end the rebuild. Not all teams can afford to rebuild like the Oilers, getting countless 1st overall opportunities, and still be terrible. There needs to be a plan.

I'd trade Boeser, too. Keep Pouty to see if gets back to normal next season, after his holdout clusterfuck of a season, so far. But keep him on the wing. Rutherford or Allvin have a lot of work ahead of them to clean up Benning & Co. bedshitting.

I love him, but trade him for more than what we did. A decent young player + good 1st.

Teams adding Miller at 5M are going all in, and he can be the guy to push over the edge IMO.

There it is. Also applies here. It's a gamble not signing him unless the return is huge. He should be a part of the team taking the next step.

Miller is easily worth more than we gave up. He went from a .5ish ppg player to a ppg player. Teams will line up for that kind of player.
