I'm surprised nobody is mentionning Joël Bouchard. He has coached a few of the young guys in the team and groomed them well and if the plan is to build through the draft, you'll need a coach that is good with the kids, which Bouchard has already proven to be.

you mean because of Anderson's comments? I dunno, there have been comments like these all season long, and last night's game was one of many this year where they were simply humiliated, so I didn't see much difference.

not sold on Roy, but perhaps he's matured enough after all these years lol... really curious who they'll announce as the new head coach.

Huh... wtf?! A great player a great coach does not make. Unless it's interim to finish the year while your real candidate becomes available, why would you go with absolute complete inexperience?

He'd be stupid to turn it down, really, you might never get that opportunity again.

he was "special teams consultant" for the Blue Jackets, I don't think he has any actual coaching experience... is this what they meant by "modern-day coach"? doesn't sound like a very logical choice lol

true, but I meant for Montreal in particular, Hughes and Gorton will probably be looking into their own candidates, maybe not at who was here before. not impossible, but I don't see it.

I mean that guy worked is ass off to have the carreer he had despite the odds stacked agaisnt him, everybody respects him, I would be behind that choice
