Did you see Trelivings face drop when Sillinger was selected just before the Flames pick? Was definitely on their radar,
Flame can’t afford to take their foot of the gas, it’s a close race.
Excited to see how that 3rd line plays out, but not opposed to seeing the Flames go after Pavelski if Dallas falls out of the race and decides to sell. Monahan would have to be going back, maybe 23, Val, and a 2nd?

Hard to say what Pavelski fetches given his NTC. It would be nice to say that the market was set with the Toffoli trade, but the term on Toffoli makes the two less comparable.

If Giroux gets moved then the price he goes for should be close to what Pavelski brings back.

DesLaurier accepted a challenge from Lucic to wrassle. It started with the usual grappling, meaningless jersey jabs, pretty even fight, until DesLaurier reaching into left field uncorks, unloads, that thunderous left uppercut, Lucic's knees buckle like Bambi, he's stiffened, iced, out, Medic, stretcher, neck brace, ambulance, career ending.

Tanev is such a good defenseman. You guys are lucky to have him.

They really don't. Stone is fine, Mackey is great, and Valimaki is who knows. Chychrun would be great but unrealistic. I think there's probably a 50-50 chance they bring Gio back if they're still on fire at the deadline, but besides that, I don't see them trading for a defenceman unless it's some chump for a sixth-round pick or something like that.

I hope they don’t bring Gio back, the dressing room was a mess for the last few years. Not saying it’s him but I think we’ve been down that road once already. Sign for 1 day as a ufa next year so he get to retire a Flame
