Carol Schram: Ducks clobber the Canucks, leading Boudreau to question their resilience The Vancouver Canucks laid an egg at Rogers Arena on Saturday night, dropping a 7-4 decision to the Anaheim Ducks. Are they too willing to fold their tent when the going gets tough?

Thanks Carol, interesting look at the teams best equipped to come from behind. If what Boudreau said after the game is accurate, I would guess that’s why the Canucks have been less successful, they don’t believe in themselves.

Well done as always Carol.

Tough road for the Nucks to make it in.

Just want to see some toughness and effort.

Wasn't there last night hope it changes rapidly.

Thanks Carol! If the team isn’t getting relocated to Arizona or eliminated to help solve the the watered down product, then they need a fire sale. Boeser is the first and most important player to go. Bo also needs to go. A core built around Bo, Pouty, hughes and Boeser will never win sh!t. The core of this roster is soft, gutless and weak. Let’s make some trades 🎉🎉

I think, much like with Calgary last year with Sutter, it will take until next season for Bouds to have his beliefs absorbed by the team.

Couple that with a few players coming in and moving out, and I hope it will be a better franchise moving forward.

I’m in the seemingly minority here, but I’d keep Hughes, Miller and Demko. I also think Garland, Pod, Hog, the 4th line, Schenn, Burroughs are players who don’t shy away from getting involved and can be effective so I’d keep them around.

I’d take offers on Pettersson(maybe during the summer since his offense is coming back under Bruce and should help his value), Horvat, Boeser, Myers, Pearson, etc

We’re stuck with OEL though and probably Hamonic as well. If by some miracle you can find someone to take on JD too then sweet.

I don’t recall if you were one of them, but I suggested trading Horvat to the Knights their first year in the league for Glass, Theodore and a pick and was told in no uncertain terms that Bo was untouchable.

Not bad just need to add Petey and Boeser to the no-trade list. At one time I thought Horvat was 'the guy' to lead us but so disappointed in his lack of consistency and toughness can't see it working out long term. We'll see. Leafs would be all over him but how would they fit him in they have 4 players making 42 mil

Demko should be the only one on a no trade list.

Here's a silver lining for Marwood.

Canucks scored 9 goals in the last 2 games.

Tighten up the D play and goal tending.

If were actually going to take on a full rebuild I would be inclined to agree but that won't happen with FA running this show. Only thing we can hope for now is the JR and Alvin have the Balls to stand up to FA. I'm not as worried about Alvin as I am about Rutherford. Downslope of a career in PIT we'll see if he actually gives a poop whether this club succeeds or not.

Since getting a new mask, Demko has been lit up.
Time to go back to the Jim Carey and ditch the 3 amigos.

Halak should start vs Kraken. Hoping Boudreau recognizes this and gives Demmer a break so he's ready for the big showdown and hoedown vs CGY on Thursday. Mr 'Vezina' and Mr 'Norris' will be in house. KY-Man will be slurping Marky's jockstrap for awhile now...

Similar to that gap toothed creep that played for Canucks years ago...can't remember his name (and i''m good with that tbh)
