Sandstrom hurt again and York too? Allison, Lacyzinski, Foerster, Morin, Rubtsov, Ersson, Patrick, FFS! Can this team draft anyone who can stay healthy? |

Apparently that's how it is for ALL teams. |

Getting really hard to accept anymore, getting kicked in the teeth like we’ve been.
When we took a 3-2 lead in that game, I immediately looked at the clock. 3:51 left.
Figuring we’d blow it, cause we are mentally soft, I was expecting a game tying goal and probably losing in OT. Giving up 3 consecutive goals in that time span was horrendous. Where is the pride, the level of compete? Played an overall solid game to just bow down like dogs. Maybe take a timeout after taking the lead, not sure if they had used it earlier, get everyone on the same page to lock the thing down, for pride sake. Everyone knows we’re not playing for anything else. I know losing increases our chances but, come on. If we’ve decided to just lose games, start the clean out now. That will help in that department. Don’t get caught holding the bag on Mar 22nd. Painfully frustrating. |

Don't worry they will magically put a win streak together with 20 some games left...then everyone can yell MORAL VICTORY! Then we can start this over again next year. |

There is something up with the ice or training or something.

Seriously, what is up with all of these injuries? Did these kids have prior injuries before they were drafted a la Patrick? I've never seen so many guys come back from injury only to go right back out of the lineup. Is the medical staff competent? This team is pathetic from head to toe! The last two losses were abysmal and only happen to teams that take the ice EXPECTING to lose. Again, no on ice leadership. It can't be ignored....when things go bad no one steps up to say I'm the man and we ain't gonna lose this phucking game!!!! Put JVR on waivers and send him down. He has checked out. He skates around chewing on his mouth piece like it's an afternoon skate in the middle of July. He can't come back for another year at any cost. Thanks for nuttin! |

The Flyers are a well rested team and the Canes are playing in a back-to-back situation -- dollars to donuts the tired Canes skate circles around the Flyers this afternoon - corduroy

Went to the Phantoms game Saturday, kid looked good, has decent speed. A bit rusty but you can tell there is talent there. |

Carolina Hurricanes are a superior team - penguininnevada Yes they are. Just like they are superior to the Pens!! They owned the Pens yesterday and it was great to see!! The only reason that game was close at all was because the Pens had good goalie play. If not for some 10 bellers by your goalie the Pens would have been rag dolled by those Canes! |

For the love of god please put Sanheim on the pp.
We have seen Provorov back there receiving countless opps only to generate nothing time and time again. Not sure why we would expect diff results. |

The fact that those two morons said we were 2-3 pieces away at the press conference a month back is pitiful. |

I don’t think Sanheim will do any better but yea, how many times does Provy need to prove he’s not a power play quarterback? He gets the puck and is lost, never sure what to do, no quick decisions. |

I mean, that play the other night against the Caps was dreadful. The pass was deflected, but it still looked like he was trying to pass to the front of his own net with no one there. Just dreadful I say.

I think the season weighs on Provy, especially since our Dcore is so dreadful. He looked much better earlier this year. |

This 100%. They should skate circles around the Flyers because they can. Hart is playing so I will tune in.

They could be 3 players away if those players are LeClair, Desjardins and Svoboda ca 1995... or Timonen, Hartnell and Briere ca. 2007. Short of that, it's likely rather over-optimistic. |

Bill,
When/If does Fedotov come over? - rmedaska
They are apparently negotiating with his North American agent. He'd come over for next season. I'd pump the brakes a little on setting expectations too high if he does.
He'll get a look. But he could just as easily end up having a Niko Hovinen experience over here as he could be a late-blooming NHLer. I still think Ersson is the Flyers' best goalie prospect below the NHL level. Unfortunately, he's missed most of this season due to twice-recurring groin issue.
