It's interesting how Mackinnon doesn't get supplemental discipline for a slash to an OFFICIAL because he "wasn't aiming" at the official. Thought it was automatic.

The price isnt too bad I guess. The real question is does this player have NHL upside or are we just taking a gamble on a kid because of where he comes from.

Who knows. Could just be he wants to play with the hometown organization? For a 7th, I am not expecting a whole lot so any NHL games played and/or production is just bonus at that price I guess.

I have an entire folder labeled "the Thrill" and I think I have over 100 at this point. When he was in toronto a few of us would go over to the leafs thread and just do a gif bomb of kessel. It was fantastic.

Fun fact: Every time Kessel gets a point in arizona, he is allowed one free tripple bacon cheeseburger and large fry from the concessions after the game.
