Geeez awfully pricey. And i havent really thought that forward was the issue as back in the summer. Even when adding thornton i wondered when and how the young forwards were ever going to get a turn. I just dont know where the money comes from. Also if it were a 1 for 1 sure but you start tacking on these plus plus plus and it starts getting a little greasy for a rental as you said

I hear you. I’m pretty comfortable with the forward group heading into the playoffs as is. A lot of these guys gained some good post-season experience last year.

That is a lot for Giroux! Especially when the Cats are already offensively GREAT!! I would hope you get some back-up help in goal and more D-depth. Maybe Greiss, Martin Jones, Braun, Soucy, or Gio.

Zito has done everything right so far. We’ll see what he does next. Just a little weird seeing the Panthers in the rental market, I guess, lol.

You guys have a really good team down there. Very tenacious, 2nd period got ugly for Us. Thought we could have kept it from being a blowout if we could have potted a couple of those chances in the 1st. Guys basically toyed with us on that Barkov goal.

That was a rough few seconds. I think the first one redirected off Ekblad’s stick and then Weegar inadvertently screened Bob.

G is one hell of a player, a leader and a competitor. He is always overlooked in the league because he isn't a flashy personality, but the guy has changed his game and is one not only a creative playmaker, he also plays the full length of the ice and is a top faceoff man in the league which makes him even more valuable come playoff time. Braun is a steady D, not exciting by any means, and Jones isn't a bad backup. I hate to see G traded, but you'd be getting a great player and person.
