Solid move. Younger, faster, more affordable. I feel Nico was having a down year as well as being one of the few minus players on the WILD.

Jost is 2 years younger and the Wild have the cost certainty of Jost’s 2 mil salary for another year. But Sturm is stronger and has a 51% faceoff wins compared to Jost’s 39% wins. The Wild get even worse in the circle. Sturm’s salary of $750k was not going up to 2mil. How does this help the Wild?

When Jost was drafted he was to be the next Joe Sakic. Well to didn’t work out.

Actually, he was compared to Jonathan Toews at the time. Maybe you can compare him to the Toews of today. He was taken 10th in the draft and has underachieved to be honest. Hopefully, he can help the PK.

Fair trade for both teams, maybe Josty can get his career going again, hopefully but just when he doesn't play us!

This was a mini move by Guerin to try to shake things up. Bigger moves will be coming if the Wild don’t get the train back on the tracks. It’s a tight group so they have to get it together if they want to stay together.
