I like Hertl a lot, but that's A LOT in cap hit AND term for a 28 year old who is basically a consistent 55 pointer. Maybe if he was 23-24 and had those potential years for more or had at least one breakout year of great numbers, but I doubt he even has another 60 point year for the rest of the contract.

Umm, he's been over a .75 ppg (60 points) player for 4 years now, with the outlier being when he was 26, where he was still pacing 61 points. Every other year, he's pacing closer to being a 65-70 point guy. He'll break 60 points this year easily. You thinking of the right guy? Injury concerns would be the only thing with this contract imo.
