Biggest and gutsiest win all season. I mean to have the PP look as bad as it did and to come through late like that was a microcosm of this season. They don’t give up or quit and eventually find a way. Huge huge win
The East is where we seem to be able to compete in games better. They’re 5-1 vs both Florida teams! Whose done that this year? That’s impressive to me. West is where get into trouble playing against.
Tonight just get a point I’m not really worried about first place. Idgaf about seeding, they can win anywhere. Just stay healthy and develop more chemistry especially getting new players
And didn’t the Nash deal go down on the Sunday prior to the deadline? Lindgren became a Ranger. That was a good day!

Next time Lindgren drops them with Maroon he needs to just start firing away. He waited until Maroon dropped his but Maroon could careless when the refs tried stopping it and got an extra 6 shots in. |

there was that one play that sticks out to me, forget who it was on Tampa, but Nemeth did that thing where he completely just let the guy walk in on him, Shesty made agreat save and I thought to myself, this can't go on
and Zac Jones isn't ready yet, and Hajek sucks
they need a LHD by tomorrow afternoon |

He let Perry just walk in. Nemeth is bad. They need an upgrade

That’s the only move I’m expecting. With Kakko and Rooney coming back (hopefully) and Gallant clearly a fan of McKegg and Hunt there’s not many spots left for forwards unless Chytil or another roster player gets moved. Todays game is huge. If the 3rd line can play like they did last night it would make a forward trade even more unlikely. |

With Chytil playing better too, if NYR acquires A center, there really is no place for him to play. Don't see that happening..unless Chytil gets traded |

He also, on more than one occasion, skated back into the d-zone with the puck.. behind the net.. and turned it over.
Nemeth is serviceable in slower paced games, but quick teams will expose him.
I really hope they dont over pay for Giordano. |

They need a scoring winger. You can’t count on Kakko given the wrist issue and it would lengthen lineup. |

When Chytil stops playing cute he’s a solid NHL player. It’s easy to forget that at his age this could easily be his rookie or sophomore season. He’s slowly changing my mind of him again. |

Im not falling into that rabbit hole. I need to see what he did last night in an 82 game schedule. It happens all the time with him, he plays 3-4 really good games, convinces everyone that hes turned a new leaf, makes people believers again, then he disappears for 15 games. Then when you argue with the Chytil apologists they keep using those 3-4 games as their premise to not trade him because "hes got so much potential". As if the 20 games after those dont exist, conveniently throw a veil of their eyes. |

I have extreme doubts Chytil will be traded in the next 30 hours

That’s fair. I’m pretty convinced he tore a ligament(s) and that’s why the recovery is so long. I had a similar injury and that wrist is only like 80% now. I of course didn’t have a world class medical team to help me recover though |

Rangers need another forward. Copp would be ideal at this point based on what’s available on the
Market. Get it done |

I think Nick Paul would do well as well. Lehkonen would obviously fit, but I think the cost is too much. Im still hoping the NSH scouting was about Sissons. Jeannot would be nice, but he would likely cost as much as Hagel. Francis is on record that hes open for business, so would be nice if we could pull Gourde from SEA with some retention (1.5m - 2m). |

Scapholunate.
Had to have my wrist pinned for like 8 weeks which is probably why my mobility is still so poor. |

That could've been an exact description of Kreider most years. I, for one am pretty damn glad they didn't give up on him. |

And think about who Chytil has played with. He has never been on a line with consistent players. He may work, he may not, but I would like to see him with a consistent line. |

Seems I might be in the minority but you can’t convince me this team is a real threat with Panarin, Strome, and Vatrano as your 2 line. Kakko will come back but not sure how he will be when he gets back. Not like he was lighting the lamp when he was in the lineup so it’s hard to expect much. Rangers want to be considered a Stanley cup contender they gotta give me someone on that right wing that’s going to be a difference maker. Rangers have the defense and goalie to go deep but again 5V5 offense has been a constant problem. Gotta find a way to upgrade. Just my opinion on the matter. Rangers could win tonight and nothing would change my mind on that. |

Meanwhile, I posted yesterday that I felt that we need to strike while the iron is hot, and move Chytil up to the 2nd line between Panarin and Strome to see what we got in this uptick in play from him. I, of all people, am acknowledging his good play and want to reward him with proper linemates to try to get him going offensively... only to get shut down. |
