A lot of doom and gloom from fans on this board. I want this team to be successful as much as anyone but I’m not gonna allow this team’s failures to ruin my days heading into the warm weather.

Best case Scenario, we get a top 5 pick. Hopefully 1 of the top 3 picks in the draft. From there grab a couch that can change the culture. Maybe this team needs a red ass like Babcock, Tortorella, quenneville. Maybe the rumors of Johnny Gaudreau really wanting to be a Flyer are true. I don’t know but this team needs a new direction and excitement for the fans.

Meh. This teams been a blast to watch for many years. Last few are trying but I won't trade the highs and lows I've been blessed to enjoy since I started watching in the late 90's. Cant speak for the prior teams beyond a few books and Bill's great historical stories and facts but I for one am fine with what this team had done - mainly under ed Sniders watch.
