Friendly reminder that the Abbotsford Canucks are 26-9-2 since the team cranked things up in mid-January.
Right around the time they started wearing green as their home jerseys too. š¤
Fun game last night! Itās great watching Pettersson become a star for this team after a rough start due missing training camp and a lingering wrist injury. Heās really stepped up since Boudreau took over.
All that being said, Thatcher Demko is the teams best player and MVP!

Would be nice to see the team come flying out of the gates next year instead of taking a month or two to get started .
5 points in 7 games even though he has only has points in 3 of those games.
I had said in his first game back vs Vegas that I sort of ummm not missed him but he is still better than a replacement level player. He does more of the little things on every shift in a game than a replacement would. Plus getting in the forecheck and being a big body. Canucks call ups are of the smaller variety.

Agreeā¦.speaks to the consistency Allvin is talkin bout. Looking forward to whatever changes are made this summer but I sincerely hope they squeeze into the playoffs first.
Good to see Richardy have a good game last night. Been snake bitten a lot of the year. Hopefully he can continue his hot streak tonight. - manvanfan
I think snake bittwn for a lot of the year might be code for a guy that just cant really produce at this level offensively. I will say, defensively he holds his weight.

What a difference a coach with exoerience makes. Green did get JB fired though, so for a lot of people he was the coach we needed.

I agree with these points, Hughes is a close runner up though imo playing huge minutes under Boudreau and rising to the call.
They were probably interviewed before being hired. - Marwood
The hiring of Travis Green most quotes are from Trevor Linden.
That lack of NHL experience didnāt concern Canucksā brass, with Linden telling reporters Green was the only candidate interviewed for the job, a process that took just two days.
The hiring of Trent Cull quotes are from Jim Benning.
Announcing the hiring of Trent Cull, Canucks GM Jim Benning had this to say via Canucks.com.
Trent is a passionate Head Coach with significant AHL experience.
He understands the development path of a young player, including the challenges they face, and has been a part of many successful organizations. Trent is a teacher with a positive, energetic work ethic.
Thanks Carol! Destiny in their own hands, lets see what the team is made of.
Don't you say that about the prospects every year? - NewYorkNuck
No, not Canucks prospects at least
In the draft it's always called spectacular the year before and then everybody just gets more down on the players and next thing you know a 15th pick isn't going to get you a decent prospect. So I say, they will be surprised there, with what will still be available.
Last couple years it would be hard to say that, since half of them haven't been able to come to camp.
I said a few years ago (pre-covid) a lot of the prospects were very make or break years that would push them into real NHL value territory or start to Peter off into nothing.
