Stecher has been a great replacement for Spence. On the other hand, would Spence been an improvement over Mikey Anderson? Anderson at times looks lost out there and his play has led to a few Edm goals.

Oilers need a coach like Quennville. Just ask Keith.

yup.. one game suspension for Nurse. Kings have to win game 6. they cannot afford to go back to Edmonton for a game 7.

no way does Mikey come out for anyone... he has single handedly been laying the body on EDMs top two centermen. If he's look lost out there it's because he's trying to keep with world class speed and skill and 99% of dmen in the league would also have trouble with...

I think the Kings have zero pressure on themselves here. Play loose.

I want to see the oilers lose.

Oilers might have a depth problem, but they definitely have a leadership problem. Nurse should have seen some fine for intentionally tripping Moore with his stick in Game 4 during the goal celebration. Someone on the team needed to take their 9.25 AAV, 21 ATOI/Night number 1 Dman aside and told him to cool it. Whether that occurred or not? Does not matter, because even if it did, it wasn't effective and he went Mike Alstott on Danault on that play stoppage. Now he's gone for Game 6.

Thanks, but what a mess that team is.

Completely disagree about Anderson. He may not be as flashy but his stick checking is second to none between the two teams. He is having himself a great playoff despite it not showing up on the stat sheet.

As for the game, what an anxiety producing affair. I was out of my seat and screaming after that OT clincher. What an unbelievable performance by the boys. Clean up the PK and we can end it tonight

When i watch the game tonight on tv, i will keep a better eye on Anderson to see all these hits and such. I am happy to hear that he is bringing lots to his game this series.
one play that stands out for me was a PP goal in Game 1 that Driasitl scored, he was left open after Anderson join the three other penalty killers to Quicks right side of the ice.

he hasn't been flawless but he has been highly effective. great stick work and gap work. He's susceptible to being beat 1v1 but he's held his own so far.

living up the coast in BC, I have to suffer with the Edmonton play by play guys and their bias' so i dont get to see as much of the good side of the Kings as i would like.
