I also ranked Laine ahead of Matthews, and that's one I got wrong. And KK ahead of Tkachuk, and so far that one hasn't been right either. The critics will only point to those two, however, as clear evidence that I am a poor scout. It's a bit more complicated than that.š
has Grant been Spatso the whole time? |

Lightning seized on a positional defensive miscue by Justin Holl, who drifted away from the front of the net to allow Point a chance to put a Campbell rebound over the goal line to force Game 7 in Toronto

Point is clutch AF.
Officiating was trash, even though my team benefitted from it, I can admit that it was trash.
Bourbon and weed aint gonna cut it for a Game 7. I might need to start sniffing glue.

Point has been pretty hit/miss this series. Every now and then he looks like the explosive guy he normally is and then he disappears. Been coming on stronger as the series goes, but definitely weird to see him at his most "ok."

Agreed. I was speculating that he might be playing through an injury. He was hurt and missed time during the regular season and hasn't been the same since. But, like you said, he appears to be finding his groove as the series goes on. And credit to the Leafs for keeping him mostly in check so far.

I may be in the minority here... and probably am...
But it was a little disappointing to hear AM34 after the game say "we just need to lay our sack on the line Saturday"...
Bro it's the playoffs ... you should've been doing that every second of every shift...that's the difference between winners and players just happy to be there... |
