Rangers were never supposed to be a contender this year. Playoffs was a step. They’ll have to make some slight tweaks next year. Their roster is talented. If they fix their 5v5 play they can be good.

5v5 is about 80% of the play time. That's like saying a girl looks good with a cute face as long as she can add tits, ass, and a tight waist. NYR need to find almost the entire thing as goaltending and PP is all they can do. Arizona with Shesterkin would make the playoffs.

Shesty has probably played two great games this PO. Really hasn’t been spectacular. Rangers 5v5 post deadline they were top 10 in the league then. Small sample but it had people optimistic
