Are you at all concerned about jiricek and his knee? If the flyers draft another injury prone player it's really good to girt the franchise even further
If jiricek has a solid knee still he will make a fine addition to the team though

He looked fine at IIHF Worlds. Missed several months. Not like it was 12-month ACL thing.

The book hasn’t even written on the Kraken yet but so far, it’s not looking great. I definitely wouldn’t want Toronto’s most recent history pre Austin Matthews.

That's certainly fair, but over the last decade, the Flyers are definitely one of the 10 worst run organizations in the NHL and likely in the bottom 5. From blown draft picks, to bad trades, to lousy coaches and ineffective GMs, they are much closer to the bottom of the barrel than the top.

What makes it worse, is that from inception until 2012, they were one of the top 10 best run franchises in the league and top 5 from 1972 until 2004. The last decade has been an utter crap show and terribly depressing.

Wasn’t much honestly but he was a bit off balance and you just can’t give a guy a shot in that position

So will Cutter Gauthier be a surprise top 5 pick? Looks like he will be moved to center when he plays at Boston College in the fall.

Smith is the only reason that they were in the game to begin with. He was shelled early. Yeah, that 3rd goal was weak, but he is hardly the reason that the Oil lost the game.

Except that NAK was a healthy scratch for tonight's game and Brassard is nowhere to be found. Another stellar post by you.

Their top 2 are obviously elite, but after Hyman and the pop Kane provided down then stretch, that secondary scoring is rather streaky. And yeah, the defense isn’t great.

The Avs are just put together too well from top to bottom for Edmonton to hang with. We all saw that from the start though, right?

I think my preseason picks might actually make the Finals. Hmph. Still hope the Lightning prove me wrong. God, I hate the Rangers.
