Thanks Carol. It's too bad about DiPietro. He was just hitting his stride in Utica when things got shut down. Entertaining little Goalie when he's on. I hope he gets a chance to pull it together somewhere. But at this point I doubt his potential to be an everyday NHLer.

On the JTM front I’ve a gut feeling after this draft the teams interested have better assets to swing a deal. Caps for example picked a D that could be packaged. Maybe some here hoped a pre-draft trade would occur but waiting for a better haul can work in our favour.

I’m not too concerned on how it will play out. Time is on our side. The past TDL came & went & his value has not lessened. A team either steps up the offer this offseason or imo has less options if they wait it out. Just don’t see a lot of rumours of potential players like JTM & what he brings. Expecting it to heat up once teams sign their rfa’s.

I think that the Canucks are still committed to try and win more and not less games with this roster. More factors involved then what is said in here for sure.

The list of teams that would add Miller isnt very big to begin with. Unless they have a shot of going very deep in the playoffs, not likely they are going to come around regardless of free agency. A middling team who can't talk with Miller's agent sure as hell isnt going to invest in him.

Unless some teams are added to the league and they are contenders, I don't know why things would get hot again? Things were hot before the draft and at the TDL... at best it might get luke warm imo.

It’s big enough to get a good bidding war going. This offseason teams would add him to go over the top (Canes) or if they let players test UFA (NYR) or make a PO push (NJ) window is closing (Caps). Other teams tbd.
