it was nice to see Canada win in what turned out to be the most entertaining game of the tournament. Joshua Roy did really well, I hope he continues to develop his game, he looks very promising.
and Mysak may not have won a medal, but he really shined on his team, his coach even said that as captain he acted like a father figure for the group. it might not be a guarantee that he'll have success at the NHL level but this kind of maturity and talent can only help him moving forward.

I think Laval might be a more interesting team to watch than Montreal this year.

yeah that's definitely a strong possibility, considering the Rocket should have a talented group and will be in "win now" mode, as opposed to the habs who will most likely be somewhere at the bottom of the standings... despite all the losses for the habs though I'm hoping the younger guys will have a good season, with St-Louis pushing them and sharing his experiences as a player so they develop the best way possible.
You scared me there i thought for a second he dud sign snd i had to write again. On my way to a funeral right now so not really in the moid lol - Karine Hains
nah it's okay Karine, I was just messing around lol... besides you've been so productive with the number of habs blogs this summer that I think you earned a little break

I think we can expect Mysak to become in a few years a reliable #3C. something like Skrudland, if you remember him.
that would be a really nice surprise
I wouldn't bet on it though. - fidopro
as long as it isn't because Dach turned out to be a major disappointment, thus making Mysak the better player by default, leaving the habs with no real solid second-line center lol...

I guess Dach's struggles in chicago were mainly due to his freak wrist injury, he's only 21 so he has plenty of time in front of him to catch up on his learning curve.

that, and probably brought up too soon. also drafted too early imo.
