Thanks Carol….some of these minor moves may be a precursor to bigger moves, you think? |

Horvat, Miller, Pearson, Garland, Podkolzin, Boeser and Rathbone all need to be moved this year, at some point, to start this mess over again! Build it right!!
Goaltending - Defence - Centers - everything else. |

Thanks Carol so OEL took today off does that mean they practice Monday too? Plus some media reported Boeser being ready for Tuesday. |

So tank for Bedard? So far Canucks are buyers. |

Not necessarily, you can trade highend players for more balance within your team. When Buffalo traded Jack Eichel for Tuch, Krebs, a 1st round pick & a 2nd round pick the first rounder was 16th overall. You don’t have to get first overall to improve your club. |

Not sure about these two. What you could get for them and what their potential is doesn't make it worth it. Plus, you're still going to need people to play.
Also, I think building D is more important than Goaltending. Unless you're getting Shirstirkin or Vassy, you can get a good goalie in FA and they can look better behind a higher end D corp |

In their case I was thinking more of a package deal with a more prominent player. Haven’t been impressed with Podkolzin this year, but, he’s young and lots of room to grow as a player. Rathbone I like, but he’s a sweetener. |

Great, a heart & soul guy who gets bullied in a pumpkin patch. |

He’s 31 years old, turned in July, I don’t see that happening at this stage. His contract is up in five years, including this season. But you never know.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't have any insight on this so this is just a wild guess, but I say OEL on LTIR and bought out next year. I know all the penalties behind the buyout, but I say they do it anyways.
In the meantime, with contract talks going nowhere I say a Horvat for a Top 2 Dman is coming this year.

I think you meant “isn’t”, at any rate, he’s kinda like you….no one likes him so I think he can go for the right return. |

Could very well happen, I just think it’s a long-shot with the way the defence is such a weak spot within the organization. |

Thanks Carol.
I would be interested to know what the Canucks record is without Hughes in the lineup, vs when he is in the lineup. |

And one look at those Halloween costumes and we wonder why this franchise has no cups...

Yeah don't see it. Can see a few smaller moves for some help on D first then see where it goes. Horvat-Miller-Petey all looking to be 30 goals scorers again and not that I want it to be but Boeser may get dangled. Constantly injury-prone very inconsistent. Might be time to move on but watch him score 30 with a different club. lol

At least he has the stones to show up to the pumpkin patch. Brock and Pouty just hide at home between games |

He is the leader of the room. The issue is Pouty and his gang. Players that don’t want to be here need to go. Pouty isn’t resigning so time to move him for haul |

Yup, it takes real balls to go out in public where teenagers can humiliate you in front of your family. |
