Flyers one point off last years pace through 8 games.
Will they be able to hold Zibanejad under 6 points tonight?
How many combined games will Couturier/Ellis/Atkinson play this year? I will go with 52. |

Do me a favour, win tonight and like toss the game in OT tomorrow against the leafs okay? 3 points in 2 nights seems fair. |

Add 3 goals against on the top pair , 2 to the second, and one to the third. Hart save percentage .911 a decent starting goalie average percentage . Tony D is still not a minus player while logging 25 minutes a night against top pairs. But to some he’s as bad defensively as Yandle. Makes sense right. |

Might be able to find some odds on Points Bet. That first point seems like a good same game parley you could do. Make some money. |

Tippett gets in really good spots to score goals. If his shooting % could improve even slightly, he would have 2nd line production. Not sure he can get there. This improvement must happen this year. |

Some people just luv to poop on the Flyers, the management, the coaches and the players. I think they get off on it.
Fletcher could draft the next Gretsky and people would still call for his head.

TDA is prone to being beat for sure but he’s not anywhere near as bad as Yandle defensively. He’s been a good player for the Flyers. |

He's .938 ytd - unsustainable, of course
Given that .920 is elite level, I wouldn't complain much if he can be .911 for this year

Lots to unpack here...
Hart's SV% is .938
Tony D is getting 17:51 at ES. That's where the minuses would come, outside of letting in shorties while on the PP.
I don't think DeAngelo is anywhere close to Yandle in terms of defense. Yandle wasn't just horrible at defending, as a Flyer he was coward who actively avoided physical contact in order to avoid getting hurt.
But TD does make some very poor decisions.

Right, don’t expect it to continue that high but that’s why I made that calculation. TDA +3, take the 3 against and he’s at zero. |

Not a fan of the line combos at all.
A 5 million + 3rd pair defenseman. Money well spent.
No Zamula again. Totally shocking.
If this team ever gets remotely healthy any somewhat young player will be removed from this lineup. |

Two young guys trying to carve out a role for themselves in Bellows and Frost, let’s put Macewen with them…. |

Brown seems like he might be the first forward to get healthy, which I assume will see Allison or Laczynski get the boot back to LHV. That will save the club some cash, as well as increasing the veteranness of the squad. |

This would have been the perfect opportunity and situation for Wade Allison. |
