I think Spencer Knight un-anointed himself as the #1 goalie with this performance. I thought every regular-time goal was stoppable and he was totally snoozing on the one off the face off.

Idk if Knight is supposed to be #1 this year.
A $10 million goalie with a full non movement clause... options with Bob are very limited. But, trading the kid goalie you believe to be your long term future in goal would be rather stupid, too.
Zito inherited the goalie situation, working around Bob’s contract has had an effect on all of his decisions so far, imo. |
