Hains: In Hainsight: A Worrying Trend
The Canadiens were dominated by the Sabres tonight, a team that had lost 8 games in a row but looked just too good for Montreal tonight grabbing a 7-2 win. - Karine Hains
damn Karine, that was a quick press release |

This is a very young defense corps (Xhekaj, Harris, Guhle), and the others are not doing well. Edmundson looks slow and always out of position. Savard was playing well earlier but I think he has been playing too many minutes, it's taking its toll. Matheson is good, but just came back and has always been far from great defensively. Wideman and Kovacevic are just fringe. It was to be expected.
Doesn't help when your goalies are shaky. |

I don't think I've ever hated a Habs player more than Joel Armia |

yeah, I don't expect Matheson and Edmunson to be paired together for very long, perhaps St-Louis feels they'll figure it out soon but I wouldn't wait too long for that either.

while you are 100% right, I for one am not impressed by the coach. among other things. I guess that was to be expected. |

I wonder why you hated him so much, I'm sure it's as rational as your hate for Trudeau

you say that now after they've had a lot of unexpected success, not sure how much you can blame the flaws on coaching. |

I don't blame the losses on coaching, they have a young team, a not a very good one.
but seeing the same errors day in day out, not fixed... that's on the coach.
that adds up to some decisions, I talked about that before, that seem... let say out of the box, to be polite.
nothing critical here, we all knew this season's objective was to develop. that includes the coach. |

yeah, I was talking about "flaws", not necessarily losses. for example not having a legit #1 goalie, or having veteran dmen that are currently struggling to get their game back, those don't really fall on coaching. we'll see what the decisions will be if the losses pile up, but I don't see St-Louis as being an issue yet.

Yikes! Should you inquire about workers rights post about it your blog is as good in any languages.
formhttps://www.cnesst.gouv.qc.ca/en/working-conditions/work-schedule-and-termination-employment/work-schedule/presence-work-breaks-and-weekly-rest-period. Also, I know you know this, but... Per CNESST.
https://www.cnesst.gouv.q...ks-and-weekly-rest-period
Meals
"After 5 consecutive hours of work, a worker is entitled to a 30-minute meal break, without pay. If the worker is required to remain at their workstation during this time, their meal break must be paid."
As an aside, I cannot say anything, as I know some services are CONSIDERED essential, or if it falls under CNESST regulations. Are you gonna get 1 hour off? I don't know enough about QC labour, but in ON, you are entitled to 30 minutes (unpaid) for lunch, and/or 2 15 minutes paid breaks.
All I know is that you're essential here. 😂 |

Personally, outside of the first line? Anderson was one of the few making an impact. Just my opinion, though. And get used to bottom 2 D pairs rotating in and out. MSL wants to keep them all fresh and engaged. Besides, it adds a level of complete amongst the D to stay in the lineup. |
