Last time Edmonton acquired Kulikov he cost a conditional fourth round pick. became a third if Edmonton won a playoff round. I would argue his overall value hasn't changed much in the past couple years. Personally I think JP for Kulikov straight across would give value to each team but with Puljujarvi's 3 mil, a fourth in addition might be the play.
