Such a mess from day one really. Can’t see Wright being too happy. Proven he can compete, GM wanted him on the roster and Coach didnt. Caught in a power struggle/difference of opinion and now wont even burn the year on the ELC or get his nhl salary. Ends up 50/week in the OHL. Not sure playing at that level is best for development but its the only option for regular play and hopefully he can get a deep Mem cup run.

Shane Wright traded!!

The Frontenacs acquired forward Ethan Miedema, defenceman Gavin McCarthy and seven OHL priority selections from the Spitfires in return. Kingston also sent a conditional 14th-round pick in 2025 to the Spitfires.

Windsor adds Wright for the playoff run. Interesting to see him go to Windsor, and wonder what London will do now they missed out.
