Jan Levine: Rangers face the Stars, Kreider sits with injury, Jake Leschyshyn claimed
Laf to top line

Short, sweet and to the point. Hope they win tonight. I also whole heartedly agree with your sentiment below.

Jonny Brodzinski has leveled off a bit from his solid play after he moved into the lineup full time and could be a waiver candidate. other than being younger, what is the difference between Leschyshyn and Ryan Carpenter? Why not give a chance to Gustav Rydahl? Who makes the player evaluation decisions on this team to land at this spot?

Rydahl and Carpenter are UFA's after the season, may be it really is the thought of a younger guy replacing them beyond this season

Leschyshyn's AHL stats last year blow away Rydahl's AHL stats this year

Also, last thing to carry over from the previous blog's thread. I will not stop posting the analytics. I will however limit my amounts of posts. 1 per every game. Moratorium ends around TDL.

I can’t believe they won’t give Rydahl a chance. Heard a report he is one of the better skaters in the ahl

he's hurt, mystery solved, probably a big reason why they picked up Leschysyn

They had other options besides than Rydal in the AHL. Drury and Gallant made their move. Is what it is now. Just hope he's the 13th forward while Kreider is hurt. Kreider comes back and they can waive him.

Yeah that was my bad, I did that on purpose. I apologize. Honestly last year I missed your reactions. Cause I know you were a Kreider guy from day 1. Him being one of the 10 best scores ever to where a Ranger sweater, and the best playoff goal scorer is not talked about enough.

Is it just me or does Chytil seem like the only player on the team recently with a shoot first mentality. Last game so many prime scoring chances by players passed up for a dumb pass.

Yea I just got tired of him always being a scapegoat when the team didn’t win. I was pretty clear I always saw him as a 2nd line player. His contract and production matched up with that. He is a streaky player. A lot of people wanted him to be a 1st line star. Just isn’t him. Was nice to see a big season from him. But him being a 35 goal 25 assist player is fine with me. On pace for that this year

it's crazy, everybody thinks pass first, they all think they are Panarin

the other day when Kakko and Lafreniere came down on 2 on 1 and try to pass 10 times times I wanted to klll them both

He looks so much better this year though. Think he has realized he has to work hard, his speed and size made it easy for him in the lower leagues, aint happening in the NHL.

Was on pace for 40 goals. Injury will hamper that. Nothing he could do.

It kinda does though. He just can't score. Given his ice time, he has some of the best scoring chance metrics on the team.
